Welcome to the best English-language site on the Shin Megami Tensei Trading Card Game! (I can say "the best" with confidence because, to be honest, it's the only one.)

In case you're wondering what exactly this Shin Megummy-whatsit is, it's a collectible card game (CCG) not unlike Magic: the Gathering. What sets this Japanese card game aside from its Pokemon- and Yu-Gi-Oh!-based brethren is the fact that it's based on the popular Japanese Megami Tensei series of video games (some of which have been released over here under the "Revelations" or "Shin Megami Tensei" name, such as Persona and Digital Devil Saga). For the most part eschewing the candy-colored harmlessness of those other series, SMT features a bevy of mythological, historical and literary figures ranging from demons to gods and everything in between, all of which players of the card game can utilize in their games. If you've ever wanted to see the results of a knock-down, drag-out battle between Cerberus, Loki, a Pixie and Mothman, this is probably the game for you. On the other hand, if playing a card game featuring mythological entities sounds like your personal idea of hell, you might want to go somewhere else.
